NEET 2017 Application Form

As per the official notification, The Central Board of Secondary Education has published a notification regarding NEET 2017. NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test which is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. NEET exam replaced AIPMT exam from the year 2016 onwards. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to submit their application form for the same in the month of December 2017. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test 2017

A notification has been released by The Central Board of Secondary Education that  National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test i.e. NEET 20174 will be scheduled in the month of May 2017 for offering the admission into MBBS/BDS courses. Interested aspirants can apply for NEET exam only through online process. Conducting Body: The Central Board of Secondary Education

Courses Offered:

  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
  • BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)

Eligibility Criteria :

Education Qualification: The applicant should have passed Intermediate or 12th from a recognized Board and should secure not less than 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 17 years of age on 31st December 2017 or at the time of admission. The maximum age limit is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for reserved categories.

Application Fees :

The candidates can submit their application fees through offline or online mode/ The details of fees regarding NEET are mentioned below.

Seat Reservation :

The reservation for NEET exam is as follow:

  • SC (Schedule Caste) : 15%
  • ST (Schedule Tribe) : 7.5%
  • OBC – Non Creamy Layer : 27%
  • .Physically Handicapped (PH) : 3% seats

  • Commencement of Online Application Form: December 2016
  • Last date to submit the Application Form (without late fee) :December 2016
  • Last date to submit the Application Form (with late fee)  :January 2017
  • Date of issuing Admit Card : April 2017

How to apply for NEET 2017

The candidates who wish to appear in NEEt 2017, have to visit the offical website in order to submit their application form for the same. Here we are providing some useful instruction in order to applying online for NEET 2017.

  2. Click on Notification of NEET 2017.
  3. Read the given information carefully.
  4. Enter all correct information in application form.
  5. Submit your application form.
  6. Make payment of application form in prescribed format.
  7. Take print out of your application form.

NEET 2017 Exam Pattern :

There is no change in the paatern of NEET 2017. It is the same as the pattern of AIPMT which was conducted before 2016. The paper will be of # hours comprises 180 question. The question distribution according to subjects are mentioned below.

NEET 2017 Syllabus

As we have discussed that NEET consist of four parts i.e. Physics, chemistry, Botany, Zoology. Thus the question will be asked from these four subjects. The candidates can prepare with the whole syllabus of 11th and 12th including thsese four subjects.  The syllabus will be based on a common syllabus notified by the MCI (Medical Council of India).

NEET Counseling 2017

As we know that admission will be based on the merit list prepared as per the marks scored by the students in the entrance test.Online counselling for seats under 15% All India Quota is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) under of Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Government of India.
